Welcome Day
Tuesday, Sep 5, 2017
Welcome Day is a day dedicated to congratulating Fall 2017 Direct Admits on being accepted into the Wisconsin School of Business!

The event will start at 8:30 AM with your mandatory induction into the Wisconsin School of Business, followed by Convocation to the University of Wisconsin-Madison at the Kohl Center with Chancellor Blank and the rest of your greater freshman class across majors.

Induction starts promptly at 8:30 AM. After induction, you will receive your WSB name tag, pad folio, and t-shirt to wear the rest of the day.

Then, you will spend the rest of the afternoon with your Direct Admit class, celebrating your admission, meeting your classmates, and exploring campus.

T-Shirt Tradition/Pillar Pride
Ongoing
T-Shirt Traditions/Pillar Pride is an ongoing program held in the Wisconsin School of Business every first Tuesday of the month to unite the student body of WSB through the utilization of WSB T-shirts and education/awareness of the pillars of the Wisconsin School of Business. Food/beverages in conjunction with specific themes of the months are given out as incentives.

Diversity & Inclusion
Ongoing
Diversity & Inclusion events potentially include speaker events, workshops, activities and games to promote/hone diversity and inclusion amongst the student body.

Mentorship Program
Ongoing
The undergraduate Business Council(UBC) would like to invite you to joing the new 2017-2018 Mentorship Program!

This fall the Wisconsin School of Business will welcome a higher percentage of directly admitted students into the BBA program. In UBC, we hope to help these new admits make the most of their first year in the BBA Program by providing an upperclassman mentor to support and answer any questions they may have.

This is a super low-time commitment and is meant to be an additional resource for new directly admitted students. The only requirement is a welcoming attitude to new Badgers! It also builds great communication and leadership skills for our mentors. Please consider joining this easy resume-builder activity. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kirsten Opichka at kopichka@wisc.edu.
